For companies wishing to establish manufacturing capability in China - whether through joint venture or as a wholly foreign-owned enterprise (WFOE) - Intralink works with lawyers, tax advisers and local authorities to coordinate all aspects of company and factory set-up, including business registration, site selection, land lease/purchase negotiation and recruitment of key individuals. Where the client opts for a joint venture, Intralink can identify and evaluate prospective partners and support the contract negotiations. Where a joint venture is concluded, Intralink can continue to act for the client in the capacity of Board Representative. As a separate service, Intralink also undertakes Commercial Due Diligence for clients targeting an acquisition. Commercial Due Diligence examines the qualitative intangibles, such as the acquisition target's relationships with its customers and suppliers, its reputation in the market and the capabilities of its managers and workforce. |
