James was born in China, studied at Harvard Business School, worked in Hong Kong for 6 years and spent 8 years in Japan as senior vice-president of Jardine Matheson. Before setting up Intralink in 1990, he was a divisional managing director of a UK listed company with extensive manufacturing, marketing and international sourcing interests. Over 20 years he has built Intralink into a specialist organisation delivering results for industrial, consumer and technology focused companies in three of the most important economies in the world - China, Japan, and Korea. Ivor qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross before becoming Chief Financial Officer of three UK listed companies in the manufacturing, FMCG and B2B/B2C sectors. At that time he carried out a number of acquisitions, disposals and reorganisations across Europe. Since 1998 he has worked with VC backed technology companies, holding CEO, COO and CFO positions – in technologies such as telecoms, flat screens, software, M2M and solar power – and concluding two successful exits. Alan lived and worked in Japan for 16 years from 1992 till 2008. After completing a post-graduate degree in Japanese and International Business Studies, he worked in Fujitsu’s International Sales & Marketing Division and then spent five years at a Japanese systems engineering company where he coordinated multi-vendor projects for international automobile OEMs and suppliers in collaboration with the major Japanese trading houses. He joined Intralink in Tokyo in 2000 becoming a Project Director in 2003 and General Manager in 2005. He has managed and directed a broad cross-section of projects in software, IP and brand licensing as well as hardware and component sales in the fixed/mobile/enterprise communications, consumer electronics and financial sectors. He has driven revenues on behalf of Intralink’s European and US clients with most of the Japanese carriers, SIs, handset makers, consumer electronics OEMs and semiconductor manufacturers and maintains close links with the Japanese VC community.
In 2007 Alan established Intralink America Inc. and in 2008 he relocated to Santa Clara, California, where he is now responsible for promoting Intralink's services to North America-based technology companies. Return to list |

Alex studied Japanese, Chinese and Economics at Oxford University and went on to take a Diploma in Advanced Japanese at Sophia University in Tokyo. He has worked in and with East Asia for the past 18 years, including for a time at Sony's International Marketing Division at the company's head office in Tokyo. He also worked for a leading Japanese software company with ground-breaking technology in the professional and consumer audio space. Before assuming his business development role in the UK, Alex worked for two years in Intralink's project office in Tokyo where he was responsible for developing and implementing market entry strategies across a range of sectors, including semiconductors, consumer electronics, telecommunications, and enterprise software. He was also a key member of the company's IPR licensing team. Return to list |

Oren has spent seven of the last 15 years living and working in Japan and, since 2003, has worked in various Japan-related technology sales and business development roles. His first position was as a Business Development Coordinator for the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), where he was responsible for introducing US ICT & Cleantech start-ups to potential strategic partners in Japan. He then served as Director of Business Development for AirVisual, a software company which developed wireless applications for the Security, Homeland Security and Emergency Response markets. During this time, he developed AirVisual’s channel and alliance relationships with top Japanese OEMs.
Prior to joining Intralink, Oren served as the Mitsubishi Channel Manager for Politec USA (now part of Indra), where his role stretched from sales to project management of Politec’s Japan-related SAP & ADM service offerings. Since then, as a Project Manager in Intralink’s Tokyo office, Oren has acted in a business development capacity for clients across a wide spectrum of fields, including manufacturing technologies, enterprise software, electric vehicles, IPTV, and solar energy. Oren continues to develop and maintain close relationships with product planning and business development executives at many of Japan's top CE companies, SIs, and ISPs, as well as with key individuals in corporate R&D, strategic planning, and M&A in the technology sector in Japan. Nick was a teacher of Mathematics, Computer Studies and French until 1990 when he retrained with Kilby Fox, Chartered Accountants, Northampton, as an accountant. He moved to Barclays Bank Taxation section in 1994 where he worked in the specialist group, handling complex cases. He joined Intralink in 1997. Nick holds an Open University degree and is a member of the Association of Taxation Technicians. Return to list |

Kinuko worked for Mitsui-Sumitomo Bank in their international corporate banking division before joining a publishing start-up as the company's financial controller. She joined Intralink in 2011 and is based at the company's UK head office in Oxford. |
