December 12, 2008 - Tokyo, Japan - IGNIS Innovation Inc., a world leader in the design and development of thin film transistor circuits and driver algorithms for Active Matrix Organic Light Emitting Diodes (AMOLED), announced today that it is appointing Asia market specialists Intralink Limited to drive the company’s expansion in the Japanese market.

IGNIS will offer its AdMo™ and MaxLife™ solutions to the Japanese mobile and large-area flat-panel display and consumer electronics manufacturers and provide sales, marketing, product support and training through Intralink’s Surrogate Sales Program™. Established in 2000, the Surrogate Sales Program™ provides a vehicle for western technology companies to reach target decision makers inside Japanese corporations and develop commercial relationships before investing in their own operations.

“Japan is at the forefront of AMOLED technology development and commercialization which means that it is a natural choice for IGNIS to establish a local presence,” said Paul Arsenault, President and CEO of IGNIS. “Intralink has a proven track record of working with new display technologies and I am confident that, with their local knowledge and expertise, we are in a great position to achieve our commercial goals.”

James Lawson, CEO of Intralink, said, “We are excited to be working with IGNIS in the Japanese market. I think the decision to establish a local presence will give Japanese manufacturers the confidence to work with IGNIS to adopt the company’s ground-breaking solutions.”
