Launched Japanese product to consumer market, established local subsidiary and doubled local user-base to beyond a million users- Intralink validated the opportunity in the online B2C market and successfully ran the launch of the Japanese version of the consumer product. This doubled the online user base beyond one million users, generated major ongoing press coverage in all online and offline media, and increased sales in Japan 10-fold
- We set up a wholly-owned local subsidiary with Intralink acting on behalf of our client as local President and Chairman of the Board.
- We managed all financial and legal aspects of the operation, including ongoing sales forecasting, budget management & P&L, development of the local cost plus business model and invoicing. Legal aspects included verifying the client’s local operations complied with all aspect of the law including contract negotiations with partners
- We recruited a bilingual country manager experienced in both security and online sales to run further expansion. We then successfully transferred operational responsibilities, ensuring a smooth transfer of all aspects of the local business
