INTRALINK APPOINTS GREG SUTCH CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER TO DRIVE GROWTH IN ASIA PACIFIC MARKET PDF Print E-mail
1st September, 2005 - Asia Pacific market access specialists Intralink has appointed Greg Sutch as its Chief Operating Officer. He will also move from Tokyo to Shanghai as Director and General Manager China. Alan Mockridge has been promoted to the position of Director and General Manager Japan and David Lyon, who opened the China office in 2003, has been made a Director with responsibility for business development in the UK.

Greg will take overall responsibility for Intralink's operations across the Asia Pacific region where it delivers business development activities for a broad range UK and US companies.

These range from technology companies such as QinetiQ, the ex-government defence research agency, satellite communication company Inmarsat, SIP/IMS-based instant communication company Ecrio Inc, drug discovery software company ID Business Solutions, through to the enterprise arm of the Victoria and Albert Museum and the retailer Links of London.

Greg joined Intralink in 1995 as General Manager of the company's long established Japan office - and has been instrumental in driving the success of the company's SurrogateTM programme. This provides sales development expertise through a team of locally-based bilingual western project managers for companies seeking to build their business in Japan - the world's second largest economy - and establish a marketing or sourcing presence in the booming Chinese market.
